Interpret: AI-driven program creation from your custom spreadsheets
Video Description
What You'll Learn
- Select spreadsheet cells and turn them into structured program data with one prompt
- See how interpret identifies space names, areas, counts, and departments automatically
- Work with single or multiple sheets, including multi-building formats
- Append new data without ever overwriting existing program information
Transcript
Let's explore the new interpret tool in program mode. Here we have a custom program spreadsheet containing space names, areas, room counts, and department. We'll begin by selecting the cells we want to incorporate into our program data. Now, let's type interpret in the AI assistant and hit enter. Interpret reads the selection, identifies the spaces, areas, counts, and departments, and builds them directly into the program data sheet. Now, we can navigate to our design mode and start designing with these spaces and departments. Let's try this with a slightly more complex spreadsheet. Here, you might notice that the program data isn't very clear. By adding a quick prompt, we can tell Snaprude what each cell represents. You can work with single or multiple sheets and even complex formats like multi-building or multi-department programs. New data is always appended in the program data sheet so nothing gets overwritten. This provides a quick and reliable method to transform spreadsheets into structured data ready for design.
