Hello everyone. Today we're going to build a quick parking layout with the parametric copy feature. We'll start with a standard parking module and drop it into place. Now we can create an array using the copy tool by typing the number of copies we want to create. We'll go with five for now. We can configure the layout interactively from the properties panel. Let's add more spaces over here. Now let's build the next row. After copying, we'll use the move tool to create a 24 ft wide driveway. Let's also delete some bays from the left side to explore an angular approach and create another row here. I want to reduce the number of spaces on the right to meet the driveway clearance. So this time we'll flip the direction of the array and then start reducing the number of parking bays. Next, we rotate another block by 30 degrees and scale it down to 12 bays. That's all done with copy and rotate. To check how many parking spaces we have, we'll go to our areas tab and view counts. Currently, we have a total of 105 units for our standard parking. Now, let's try a different approach to fit more parking bays. After adjusting, we are now fitting 125 standard parking bays. This shift in layout has allowed us to accommodate more parking spaces. Now, let's add some islands and landscaping elements to our parking layout. And that's it. Parametric copy takes the repetitive work out of planning parking layouts while keeping things configurable.
