Video Description

What You'll Learn

  • Import an RFP and generate a full program of spaces in seconds
  • Edit labels, areas, counts, and department colors after generation
  • Track target versus achieved areas as you refine the design
  • See how width and length adjustments interact with area calculations

Transcript

Let's start with a program for our project. We'll open the program mode and import the RFP. This RFP will be used along with a prompt for the AI program creator to generate spaces here. Within a few seconds, the program will be created. The spaces will be generated according to the program details provided in the RFP, including areas, room count, and department. If necessary, these details can be manually edited: labels, areas, counts, department names, and colors. The program will also have sections for design fields, space-wise area summary, and department-wise area summary, plus custom calculations or columns for notes and remarks. Upon program creation, the generated areas and count will be registered as net area target and room count target, which help compare achieved values as the design progresses. Altering the width keeps the area constant and adjusts the length, while changing the length expands the area, maintaining the width value. Once you start creating or editing spaces, you'll see a summary of space-wise areas showing the difference between your target and achieved areas along with the difference percentages, plus a department-wise area summary. Now we have a program ready to begin designing on our design canvas.
