Push-Pull to Self for 3D Modeling

"This is one of those small but powerful modeling upgrades. Push-pull to self makes iterative form tweaking as quick as it is in SketchUp, without breaking BIM accuracy."– Aishwarya Arun, Product Specialist

You can now push or pull a face or edge of a space and align it directly to another face or edge of the same object. This eliminates the need for manual snapping or intermediate measurements, speeding up precise edits during concept modeling.

What’s new

  • Push-pull alignment to self: Move a face or edge until it snaps perfectly to another face or edge of the same object, making volume edits much more efficient.
  • Topography Snap toggle: A new Topography Snap setting in Project Settings allows you to turn off snapping to neighboring buildings’ edges/vertices. Disabling this can help avoid interference from background geometry during detailed edits.
  • Angle Measure Tool upgrade: You can now measure the angle between reference lines in addition to lengths and distances, giving you greater flexibility in precision modeling and site coordination.
  • Bug fix: Fixed an issue where push-pull to the site surface behaved inconsistently in certain workflows.
