Better Edge Rendering

"Clean, consistent edges make a huge difference to how drawings feel in reviews and exports. With this update, you can zoom, pan, or print without worrying about lines looking uneven or fuzzy."
– Aman Jain, Product Specialist
We have rebuilt our edge rendering engine from the ground up to match industry-standard architectural visual output. This update delivers sharper, cleaner, and more consistent visuals across both design and presentation workflows. Your models will now look equally good while you are working and when you are sharing them.
What’s new
- Consistent line thickness in 2D and 3D: Edges now maintain uniform pixel thickness at any zoom level, ensuring diagrams stay legible and polished in both working and exported views.
- Improved color fidelity: Department colors now appear more accurate to their assigned palette in both 2D and 3D views.
- Uniform space fill colors: Spaces now display consistent fill colors across both 2D and 3D modes, making diagrams more predictable and visually clear.
- Detailed edge visibility for objects in 3D: Doors, windows, and furniture now show crisp edges in 3D views, improving spatial clarity and presentation quality.
Known Limitations
- Door and window representation in 2D plan view is still using the older edge style (update planned in a future release).
- Furniture edges in 3D may appear visually cluttered for certain existing furniture objects.
