Recap of 2025: A Year of Snaptrude 3.0 and AI

As 2025 comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on what this year meant for Snaptrude.
2025 was a breakout year for Snaptrude, from a redesigned v3 experience to the start of truly human ↔ AI collaboration with our agentic platform. The result: more teams shipping real work, faster.
2025 at a glance
This year, growth showed up in ways we could feel inside the product.
What began as early experimentation turned into teams opening Snaptrude every week to get real work done.
Active users grew 30× year over year, as more architects moved from trying Snaptrude once to using it across multiple projects.
Customer adoption grew 6× year over year, with more teams committing to Snaptrude as part of their everyday design toolset.
Time spent in the product grew 40× year over year. That time went into building programs, laying out spaces, stacking floors, and preparing presentations using AI-powered workflows.
Snaptrude 3.0: rethinking the core experience
One of the biggest milestones this year was the launch of Snaptrude 3.0.
We redesigned the product around how architects actually think and move through a project, bringing everything into a single, connected workflow:
- Program to clearly define requirements
- Design to iterate freely in 2D and 3D
- BIM to add detail without breaking flow
- Present to communicate ideas without rebuilding work elsewhere
The focus was on reducing friction between thinking, designing, and sharing, so teams could move faster without losing control.
Snaptrude AI: starting real human-AI collaboration
2025 also marked the start of true human–AI collaboration inside Snaptrude.
With Snaptrude AI, teams could go from a written brief to a usable design foundation in minutes. Some of the key workflows introduced this year include:
- Site analysis that accounts for context and constraints
- AI-powered program creation from prompts or uploaded RFPs
- Automatic space creation and stacking directly on the canvas
- Research assistance for codes, standards, and feasibility
- Design inspiration and AI-powered renders grounded in real geometry
The goal wasn’t to replace design thinking, but to handle the heavy lifting early, so architects could focus on decisions, iteration, and intent.
Shipping alongside real use
Throughout the year, we shipped 75 product releases.
Each release was shaped by how people actually used Snaptrude. Where workflows slowed down. Where teams needed more control. Where ideas broke under real project constraints.
Product velocity followed real usage, not assumptions.
What stood out most
The most rewarding part of 2025 was seeing Snaptrude used on real, complex projects.
Over 1 million square feet was designed across hospitals, schools, multi-family housing, and mixed-use developments. These weren’t demos or concept exercises. They were live projects with real constraints, real teams, and real outcomes.
Looking ahead
2025 reinforced something we strongly believe: when AI supports architects instead of replacing judgment, teams move faster and make better decisions earlier.
As we move into the next year, we’re excited to keep refining how humans and AI collaborate inside Snaptrude, and to keep building tools that fit naturally into the way architects work.
Thank you to everyone who designed, tested, and built with us this year. We’re excited for what’s next.
