Present Mode: Design, Document, and Deliver Without Leaving Snaptrude

What's in this post?
Every great authoring tool needs a powerful documentation companion.
Design isn’t just about creating, it’s about storytelling. You must convey why a design works, how it functions, and the vision that drives it. The moment you export a drawing, that story freezes. Snaptrude was never content with that pause button.
From day one, our ambition has been to build a complete authoring ecosystem. Users kept asking the same question:
“When can Snaptrude handle documentation? We don’t want to jump to another whiteboard or presentation app just to tell our story.”
We felt that pain because stories aren’t static, they evolve, transform, and sharpen through feedback.
Today, we are thrilled to introduce our answer: Present Mode.
What is Present Mode?
A blank, infinite canvas, part whiteboard, part slide deck, seamlessly wired to every view, schedule, and metric in your model.
- Drag any live view: floor plan, elevation, 3D, or rendered perspective, onto the board. Tweak the model and have the ability to update views instantly at your cue.
- Brainstorm together: Drop images, PDFs, or quick scribbles; our AI assistant helps you create inspirations from your views.
- Sheets + Drawings: Switch from pin-up board to printable drawing set with one click. Scale is preserved; create title blocks the way you need them.
- Share and present: Share a link, and present. Stakeholders can annotate (even on an iPad with pencil) or simply give that elusive thumbs-up, no installs, no exports.
In short: Design, document, and deliver inside one connected ecosystem.
Why it matters
No more bouncing between Miro for ideation, InDesign or PowerPoint for slides, and PDFs for mark-ups. Fragmentation costs hours and blurs intent. Present Mode keeps the conversation where the data lives: every comment in context, every decision traceable, every sheet current.
We are incredibly excited to watch you go on a seamless journey from programming to designing to presenting,- all within Snaptrude.
This is just the a giant step toward the most connected design ecosystem in the industry. Join our early access list.
