It's important to do your research to find the right school for you. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

- The size of the school: Some students prefer large schools with lots of resources. Others prefer smaller, more intimate settings.

-The location: Do you want to be in a big city or a smaller town? The location can make a big difference in your experience.

-The cost: Architecture school is expensive. Make sure you know what the financial commitment will be before you make any decisions.

Architect Income Is Great

You may have heard that architects earn a lot of money and live a life of luxury. While it is true that architects can earn a good income, it is not always as high as you might think. In fact, according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for architects was $76,930 in 2016. That means that half of all architects earned less than that amount and half earned more. The highest 10 percent of earners made more than $130,820 while the lowest 10 percent made less than $46,600. So while there is potential to earn a good income as an architect, it is not guaranteed.

There are a lot of misconceptions about architects and their love for modernism and glass buildings. While it is true that many architects do love modernism, there are as many who don't. And while glass buildings can be beautiful, they aren't always the most practical choice.
